Overview of Active Directory Authentication
Administrators can access a fourth tab in Designer Mode called Active Dir. Groups.
From this tab they can register Active Directory groups with the Dashboard.

Active Directory Groups
You can manage the Active Directory groups within the Omega Dashboard on the left side of the Active Dir. Groups tab.
You can see the total number of Groups to the right of the Registered Active Directory Groups headline.
You can use the search bar to search Active Directory groups by keyword.
The Active Directory groups that are currently registered with the Omega Dashboard are displayed in the box below the search line.
When you click on an Active Directory group you can see the Omega Roles that it is synced with on the right side of the tab.
You can see the total number of Roles the group is synced with next to the Omega Roles headline.
You can use the search bar to search through Omega Roles by keyword.
Please note that Omega Roles on this tab are read only.
You can use the Add Group, Edit Group and Delete Group buttons to manage the Active Directory groups you register with the Dashboard.
You can add an Active Directory group to the Omega Dashboard by clicking on the Add Group button.
Enter the name of the Active Directory group in the Name field. Click on the check mark to verify that the Active Directory group exists.
You can assign which Roles you want the Group to be a part of by using the check boxes next to each role in the Assign Roles box.
Click OK to Add the group.
Click Cancel to not Add the group.

You can edit an Active Directory group registered with the Dashboard by clicking on the Edit Group button.
You can change the name of the group. You will have to click the check mark validate the Active Directory group again.
You can also change the Roles assigned to the group by using the check boxes next to each Role in the Assign Roles box.

Deleting a Group
Clicking the Delete Group button will delete the Active Directory group from the Omega Dashboard. Please not this will have no effect on the actual group in Active Directory.
You will receive an Are You Sure? warning message.
Click OK if you are sure you would like to delete the group.
Click Cancel if you are not sure you would like to delete the group.
