Administrators Overview
Administrators have additional responsibilities within the Omega Dashboard that Designers do not.
Administrators are responsible for creating users and roles, Alert Groups, Query Groups, and also mapping Briefing Books that designers create to the correct roles.
Administrators must perform these tasks before Designers can create content and End Users can use the Dashboard.
To manage users and roles, Administrators have a fourth tab available in Designer Mode. This tab is called User Access and is after the Alerts tab.
If you authenticate with the Omega Dashboard through the use of Active Directory groups, the process for creating users and roles is slightly different, and you will have access to a fifth tab on the UI, an Active Directory tab.
