Omega Button Overview
Overview
The Omega Button serves as your main menu button for the Omega Dashboard.
Depending upon your user type, different options may be available to select from on the Omega Button menu.
Different options may also be available depending upon what mode of the Dashboard you are in, Designer, Dashboard or Analysis.
How does the Omega Button Menu work?
The Omega Button Menu can be accessed from the Omega icon button in the top left corner of the Dashboard.
Clicking on the Omega Button will display a drop down menu containing all the available options for your user type.
Change Settings Dialogue Box

Switch Application
This option switches from Dashboard Mode to Analysis Mode.
Designer
This option opens the designer mode of the application. This is only available to Administrator and Designer user types.
Save
You have two different options for saving. the Save My Layout option will save only for the current User Name you are on. This option is available to Administrators, Designers and Standard Users.
The second save option is to Save Layout For All Users. This will let you save the current configuration of widgets and pages in the Briefing Book for all users with access to that Briefing Book.
Reset for All Users
The Reset Layout for All Users option allows you to restore the current Briefing Book and associated widgets and pages to the default display.
Change Password
This option opens the Change Password dialogue box. This is only available to Administrator, Designer and Standard user types and is not available if you use Active Directory to authenticate with the Omega Dashboard.
Change Settings
This option opens the Change Settings dialogue box. This is only available to Administrator, Designer and Standard user types.
Help
This button opens the help documentation for the Dashboard. You will need to have pop ups enable for your Dashboard URL for this option to function correctly.
About
This option opens the About dialogue box. Within this dialogue box the about section displays the user name of the user currently logged in and which the user is assigned to.
The Omega Group
This button opens a new internet tab to The Omega Groups home page. You will need to have pop ups enabled for your Dashboard URL for this option to function correctly.
