
Overview
The Briefing Books tab is where Briefing Books and widgets are created and managed.
Designers can create, modify and delete widgets.
Designers can create Briefing Books but cannot map them to roles or modify and delete them. An Administrator will have to assign each Briefing Book to the correct roles after it is created.
What is the Purpose of the Briefing Books Tab?
Manage Briefing Books that will be viewed in Dashboard Mode.
Manage the Widgets for each Briefing Book.
How does the Briefing Books Tab Work?
The Briefing Books tab is activated by clicking on the Briefing Book tab within the Designer Mode.
On the left side of the Briefing Books tab you will see the list of current Briefing Books. You can see the total number of Briefing Books towards the middle of the page.
You can search through Briefing Books by keyword using the search line under the Briefing Books heading.
Briefing Books can be rearranged by dragging and dropping them.
If the Briefing Book has been authored by the current Designer user, there will be a green pencil icon on the right of the Briefing Book name.
The buttons at the bottom of the Briefing Books box will let Administrators and Designers manage Briefing Books.
Designers can us the Create Briefing Book and Copy Briefing Book buttons while Administrators can additionally use the Edit Briefing Book and Delete Briefing Book buttons.
Widgets are found on the right side of the Briefing Book tab. You can see the number of widgets created on the right side of the page.
You can search through widgets within the selected Briefing Book by keyword using the search line under the Widgets Within Selected Briefing Book heading.
The Widget Type icon next to each widget name will let you know the type of each widget.
You can use the buttons below the widgets box to manage widgets.
Designers can Create, Edit, Copy and Delete Briefing Books. However they can't map them to roles. Administrators will need to map Designer created Briefing Books to roles.
