Overview
What is the purpose of Dashboard Mode?
Displays GIS data specific to the End User.
Widgets relevant to the End User are displayed on pages and within the Library.
Queries on Demand of specific interest to the End User are grouped within Query Groups.
Data is presented in such a way that End Users can quickly view and analyze data pertaining to their job.
Brings together information which can be shared to produce a common operational picture.
How does Dashboard Mode work?
Dashboard Mode is pre-configured by an administrator or designer of the Omega Dashboard application.
Queries of the data are made available as Widgets or Alerts, and can be automated to refresh the data on a regular schedule.
Queries on Demand are set up in advance by the administrator or designer of the application and can be accessed from Dashboard Mode.
Widgets, Queries on Demand and Alerts can be made available to everyone, or secured so that individuals are able to view the data critical to their area of expertise.
Widgets are grouped into Briefing Books which can then be assigned to particular groups of users, or made available to everyone.
